As 2022 comes to a close, our Pause staff wants to take a moment to thank our Pause for Parents, Play for Kids community for continuing to support our mission of building resilience and increasing hope for families with special needs.

To our caregivers, thank you for trusting us with your family’s story. Your vulnerability and authenticity help our staff tailor your Pause experience to fit your family's unique needs. Your bravery to trust us with your most precious gift, your children, is something we hold to the highest regard.

To our kiddos, thank you for your smiles, your laughter and your love for our program. Every intentional detail and creative idea is for you! The Pause staff awaits your arrival to every event with overwhelming excitement! Thank you for showing up unapologetically yourself each and every day. You make it all worth it for us!

To our volunteers, thank you for the 5,783.5 hours you served in 2022 with our program. Thank you for your continuous dedication to serve and willingness to jump into any role. Your extravagant welcome to our families is unmatched!

To our donors, thank you for making Pause possible this year! With your support we are able to host over 200 events throughout the year and serve over 1,200 kids and caregivers. Thank you for making our first fundraising gala, It’s Personal a huge success. We look forward to continued partnership in the coming year.

To our community partners, thank you for seeing our families for who they are without judgment. Thank you for giving them space to create memories and build traditions. Without your commitment to Pause, our program would not exist!

To our Pause Board, thank you for your continuous leadership and support for our staff. We couldn’t drive our mission forward without you.
