How to Get Your Business Involved with Pause!

Word on the street is that Pause is getting an office upgrade! Woohoo! As you know, moving comes with exciting anticipation and also the stress of having a space for all. the. things. in the meantime! Pause quickly found itself in desperate need of a moving or storage pod to have a space for all of our event supplies, office supplies, and furniture. Enter: our incredibly generous CAN DO Network!

CAN DO member Ken Snelling helped Pause connect with Planes Moving and Shipping company. They generously offered Pause a moving pod for FREE! Pause now has a safe space to keep all our event and office supplies in during the move! They delivered the moving pod to us and we had some friends from the Educational Service Center pack it to the brim. You rock, Planes! Thanks for helping out in a BIG way!

Did you know that YOUR business can get involved with Pause? Congrats! You’ve done step #1 because you’re already a crucial part of the CAN DO Network! As you know, CAN DO is a super easy way for you to get involved in a meaningful way with your local community. But we don’t stop there - CAN DO goes further and offers your business or company a way to get involved!

Step #2 is spread the word and ask around at your business or company! Talk with your manager or owner and brainstorm ways for your company to help out. Maybe you have resources or services to donate, maybe you have volunteers that want to donate time hanging out with special needs kiddos, or maybe you’d like to sponsor a Pause event! The opportunities are endless!

Step #3 is to help out in a meaningful way that fills your bucket and allows you to have FUN! We are all about intentionality and believe that fun shows up everywhere - even during a big move!

Have an idea of a way that you can get your business involved with Pause? Send Jaclin Baker (pause.virtual@bcesc.org) an email and let’s chat!
