How does a seemingly simple donation make a BIG difference?
The Pause program is in the midst of receiving an office upgrade and we were in desperate need of moving boxes to pack up all our event and office supplies. When you serve over 1,287 caregivers, kids and volunteers that means moving a lot of stuff! Last week, Pause received an AWESOME donation of 79 moving boxes from community members like you!

Pack up our supplies in an intentional way. Doing this allows us to move forward with programming as usual. AKA: Pause will not have to “pause” and families will continue to receive all the support they need.
Remove barriers that were in the way of us making upgrades happen. The domino effect is greater efficiency and room to grow which always equals our ability to serve more families.
Be good stewards of our funding. Pause runs solely on grant funding and donations. Every dollar spent is used to benefit our Pause kiddos and families. Donations to help program costs and fund events. This means that a family who is struggling financially can have warm water. It means that the child in the wheelchair has a way to get in and out of their home safely. It means the caregiver who has a child in the hospital has an instant support network and people working behind the scenes to make life easier. It means that the child who sits alone at lunch has a fun event to look forward to - one that will bring him joy and connection with other kids who get him. It means all of this and so much more.
Finally, we get to brag about the CAN DO Network! So many have asked how we were able to pull this together on such short notice. Our answer: Our CAN DO Network ROCKS! You’re making an impact on people’s lives.
