SendAFriend is an e-commerce business that allows customers to send stuffed animal care packages with customized notes all over the world. With over 30 custom stuffed animals for sale on their site, each of the toys is an exclusive design tailored to perfectly fit their packaging, which consists of a bright blue box featuring their signature ‘Someone Loves You’ motif. Customers often send care packages to family, friends, or really anyone who could use a smile.
READY FOR SOME FUN FACTS? SendAFriend is SO much more than a company that sells stuffed animals. SendAFriend pledges to donate 10% of its total revenue to various children’s hospitals each month. This has allowed them to donate over $575,000 to pediatric care facilities so far this year. WOW!
On July 1, 2021, SendAFriend officially started the Spread the Love Fund as a way to expand the network of organizations, communities, and individuals that can benefit from SendAFriend’s donations. The SendAFriend team deeply values giving back to their communities and they have big plans for this fund including building playgrounds for kids, donating items to homeless shelters, helping individuals with their mental health, and more! #RealLifeHeros
In celebration of International Day of Charity, SendAFriend pledged to give back to nonprofits to spread the love and sent out a survey to their customers to nominate them. DRUM ROLL PLEASE… We are excited to announce that after an anonymous nomination, Pause is a proud recipient of SendAFriend's International Day of Charity donation! With over 1,200 nominations, Pause was one of 15 chosen and received $1,000!

With donations like the one from SendAFriend, Pause can provide families with so many opportunities each and every year!
At least six times a year, families can attend Parent’s Day & Night Out where caregivers can get a break to have time for themselves, run errands, have a night out with loved ones while knowing their children are safe, making connections and building their resilience.
Three times a year, caregivers have the opportunity to attend Thrive Night - a connection event for caregivers with a catered dinner, games, and breakouts led by therapists. Siblings also have the opportunity to participate in “Sib Shop '' at Thrive Night that mimics adult programming with catered dinner, fun activities, and their own therapist let breakouts.
At least once a month, children have the opportunity to participate in Virtual Hangouts - where they get to make a virtual buddy and engage in a shared experience like a craft or game.
At least five times a year, families have the opportunity to attend virtual and in-person family fun events to create happy memories, build self-esteem and strengthen family bonds.
At least four times a year, caregivers have the opportunity to attend Pause University events - virtual and in-person parent education options specific to the world of extra needs - because context matters.
Two times a year, caregivers have the opportunity to participate in family conversations to share their story, get a tour of the Pause space, and customize their Pause experience.
Year round, caregivers have the opportunity to join the private caregiver community on Facebook to link into resources, ask advice, and receive encouragement.
Year round, children have the opportunity to attend Pause Unlimited - Sunday morning programming designed for kiddos with differing needs.
AND...Every volunteer along this year-long journey will find purpose in giving back to their communities as they build connections with children, expand their skill sets and become safe adults in the lives of young people.

Why is it important to SendAFriend to give back to your communities?
SendAFriend's central mission is to spread love around the world. By having a giveback model built into the core of the brand, it allows us to truly connect with customers and give them a tangible impact that they know they are supporting.
What is the impact you feel SendAFriend makes?
On an individual basis, SendAFriend is here to make a positive impact on the lives of its customers. The impact could lift someone up while they're feeling down, or just be a simple reminder that someone is there for them. Whatever it may be, we hope that SendAFriend's care packages can bring smiles to the world at all times.
