Does my family qualify for Pause?

Does my child need to have a specific diagnosis?

Nope! Pause defines special needs broadly to include those with developmental disabilities, mental/behavioral health challenges (including complex trauma), chronic medical conditions, kids on IEPs or 504s, and kids in foster/kinship care systems.

Does my child have to be a certain age to qualify?

To enroll, qualifying children must be between the ages of 0-24 years.

Will my child age out?

No way! As long as you enroll your kiddo before their 25th birthday, you hold the autonomy to decide how long you stay involved in the program!

Does Pause only support the child with challenges?

We support your WHOLE family, siblings too! Each family member can utilize the program however they choose.

Do I have to live in Butler County?

Nope! Pause’s home base is in Butler County, but we serve families from all over!

Do I have to be a member of Center Pointe Christian Church to be involved with Pause?

Absolutely, not! We are partners with Center Pointe Christian Church and support their special needs ministry, but the Pause program is separate and runs independent of Center Pointe! Pause is open to ALL members of the community.
