Virtual Cooking Event: Build-Your-Own Calzone

Join us for the Virtual Cooking Event: Build-You-Own Calzone on Saturday, June 3rd from 5:30-6:30pm!

Here's what you can look forward to!
Build-your-own calzone with other Pause families! Join in the 1-hour virtual interactive cooking class for kids, teens and families. Young chefs get to chop, mix, and roll their way to a delicious dish. They work along a skilled instructor, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and show their work.

Kids learn valuable culinary skills and new recipes, enjoy a fun hands-on activity, and expand their taste buds to discover that "real food" can be really good. Plus they’ll get to share their creations with the whole family!

Virtual Family Fun? I've never heard of that!
Oh, get ready! Virtual Family Fun happens straight from your home! After registration, we will send you a Zoom link and you can join the fun from ANYWHERE!

Who is The Kids' Table? Glad you asked!
The Kids' Table teaches kids & families how to cook because...

  • Cooking is fun – and a valuable life skill that is getting harder to come by.

  • "Real food” is really good – it tastes good and we need it for strong, healthy bodies and brains.

  • The best way to get kids loving real food is to get them in the kitchen measuring, mixing, chopping, touching, smelling and tasting.

  • They believe real change happens one bite at a time.

What ages is this event aimed for?
This event is great for ALL ages and perfect for kiddos cognitively ages 4+!

What supplies do I need for the event?
We will supply the recipe, directions and  fun! Families will be responsible for purchasing the ingredient supplies for their family. If this is a financial hardship for you, please reach out to us! We can help!

PLUS: Pause will also supply an age appropriate chef set for your kids shipped directly to you! That's right, no pick up required!

Customize your calzone!

The Kids' Table is a vegetation facility and the instructors will not use meat in their calzone, BUT you are most welcome to add in any meat or veggie option your family prefers! Feel free to substitute the recipe based on your families needs (for example, use gluten/dairy free ingredients). You're welcome to make your own pizza dough and pizza sauce, or purchase premade ingredients. Please note: preparing the pizza dough needs to be done prior to the event.

Get ready for a FUN night!

(Limited to 300 participants.)
